7.5-inch rubber pad, 3-zone design, supports open and closed rimshots, compatible with DTX trigger input

The Yamaha TP65S is a 7.5" pad controller with 3 zones; one for the head plus one for the rim. A rubber Snare/Tom/Hi-Hat pad with a shape that is compact but easy to hit. The pad is divided into three zones and supports open rim shots and closed rim shots. In addition, you can assign different voices to different zones. This makes highly original performances possible and you can create an acoustic drum sound when you hit the head area, a cowbell sound when you hit the open rim area and a loop sound when you hit the closed rim area. You can also use the pad to change programmed drum kits.
