The two input, two output IXO12 audio interface is a lightweight, ultra-portable production platform for iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac computers, which lets you record music, podcasts, location recordings and much more in studio quality. The Loopback function making live streaming simple, and its small size means you can do it all anywhere. The IXO12 is available in black and white versions.

FEATURES

24-bit/192 kHz

The premium converters used in IXO series interfaces deliver great audio quality, thanks to a maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz with 24-bit resolution. High-quality analog to digital conversion is a crucial first step for any sound production, so Steinberg’s hardware designers carefully chose the best combination of components for optimum results. Accurately capturing every detail of the signals they record, IXO interfaces ensure audio fidelity throughout the recording process is maximized.

Ensuring sung vocals, speech and acoustic instruments are captured in stunning detail, IXO series microphone preamps deliver recording quality which is unmatched in this price class. With a beautifully transparent sound, the remarkably detailed high end, rich low frequencies and exceptional dynamic response give every project you create the clearest, most musical quality.

LOOPBACK FUNCTION FOR STEAMING

All UR-C audio interfaces are equipped with a MIDI I/O port to connect any MIDI device, making them extremely flexible for studio recording. Many studios and musicians still use MIDI input devices, classic sound modules, samplers and more as an integral part of the signature sound. The MIDI I/O on the UR-C series means that you can combine the laqtest audio interface technology with any MIDI device to ensure every aspect of your sound is just as you want it.

LATENCY-FREE DIRECT MONITORING

The IXO12 features latency-free direct hardware monitoring, which allows you to listen to the input signal in real-time when recording.

IOS READY VIA CC MODE

IXO series interfaces can be used with an audio application such as Steinberg’s Cubasis for iPhone and iPad, giving you a fully mobile audio recording solution. All IXO interfaces automatically switch to Class Compliant (CC) mode when connected to an iOS device, providing an effortlessly intuitive, ultra-portable production experience.
