The latest collaborative effort between Greb and Sonor has resulted in the Benny Greb Signature Snare 2.0, offering enhanced performance and an aesthetically pleasing exotic wood veneer center stripe. Greb's custom-designed 9-ply beech wood shell is adorned with a semi-gloss finish in Scandinavian birch and a central bubinga inlay. This meticulously crafted shell features precisely cut bearing edges to optimize head-shell response.

The snare drum is equipped with 1950s Teardrop Lugs and "stereo" MonoRail adjustable dampeners, featuring one with traditional sheep's wool and the other with cymbal felt. This combination yields a distinctive blend of vintage and contemporary aesthetics and tones for the Benny Greb 2.0 snare. Additionally, it incorporates Sonor's smooth and silent Dual Glide snare system, complete with a quick-release snare detachment mechanism for swift head changes and a snappy response.

To further enhance its sonic capabilities, the snare drum features 2.3mm triple-flanged Power Hoops, providing balanced projection and a wide dynamic range. The drum is also equipped with 18-strand Sonor Sound Wires, delivering a dry and focused response.
