Combining poplar wood with Pearl's Kapur composite, Competitor series shells are lightweight, so they don't wear you out on long marches. They also provide rich tones with a responsive feel.

The Competitor marching bass drum has 6 air vents strategically placed inside for awesome low-frequency projection. It also has 6-ply Maple hoops with triple-reinforced claws for rock-solid mounting.
