A carefully considered construction ensures that the instrument is durable enough, but still manages to place superb playability at the forefront. A walnut fretboard is simple to move across quickly; an important feature, especially within the classical genre. The decision was also made to use nylon strings. This softer material is easier on the fingers (as opposed to steel), allowing your fingertips to become slowly accustomed to the hardening process.
